Discipline is everything.

I've been working from home for almost a decade now, and friends often ask how I stay so productive.

Honestly, it's all about discipline.

You just get it done, and then you feel amazing after.

Same goes for diet, workouts, relationships, etc.

At this point, it’s actually harder for me not to work, skip a workout, or eat junk food because I know I’ll feel off afterward 😢

I’ve been thinking more and more about microplastics and how they affect our health.

A recent study found that about 0.5% of our brains might be made of microplastics now—that’s terrifying!

So, I’m on a mission to cut down my exposure.

One thing that helps is I don’t drink coffee, so I avoid plastic cups. I also drink from a metal bottle, boil water in a metal kettle, and use glass containers for food.

If you’ve got any other tips, I’d love to hear them—just reply to this email 💌

I also added these two books to my reading list.

So many people have recommended them—it’s gotta be a good sign! 📚

What we eat 100% affects our mental health.

Some studies even show that the ketogenic diet (basically zero carbs) can have a big impact on depression and other mental disorders.

Just basic logic: 95% of our serotonin is made in the gut, which has about 100 million neurons. And both serotonin production and those neurons are heavily influenced by our gut microbiome.

And, what influences the gut microbiome? Right, it’s what we eat! 🥑

Try starting your day with zero carb breakfast like some eggs+veggies instead of cereal/bread (or anything loaded with carbs and sugar).

You’ll notice how much more energized and mentally clear you feel with the first option.
